Lamé, ruffles and serenity blue will all make an appearance this Spring. I love the anticipation and excitement that comes with the shifting of seasons, and seeing what will be lining the racks in just a few months time. Well, it's that time again already. It's time to start thinking about Spring and filling those gaps in your closet.

Earlier this week we talked Spring Trends at A Line Boutique in Greenwood Village. A Line Boutique is a high-end clothing store right here in Colorado. Owner Karmen Berentsen and her team have helped put Colorado on the fashion map by bridging the gap between high contemporary and high fashion with designers including, See by Chloe, Tanya Taylor and SONIA by Sonia Rykie just to name a few. At their Spring Trend Event they gave a preview of all the major trends for Spring that will have you ready to kiss your winter sweaters goodbye and hang up those parkas in the back of your closet.

Shades of Blue

This Spring season, navy is in. This hue is perfect for minimalist essentials. Don't be afraid to mix it with black or even rock an all blue look. Sport different shades of blue for a sophisticated tonal look. If the idea of navy scares you, try incorporating it into your wardrobe with accessories, like a great bag or shoe.

Lady Like Details

Ruffles and eyelet details will be big this Spring. Sweeten up your look with a delicate touch. Ruffles and eyelet details are playful and carefree for the upcoming season. Although, don't feel like you have to go completely sweet with your look. Toughen up these lady like trends with a pair of ripped jeans or a moto jacket. This trend takes you from day to night with ease. Pair a ruffled top with a pencil skirt and blazer and your ready for the office, then switch it out for a pair of skinny jeans and some fun jewelry and you're ready for a night on the town.

We saw this trend for Fall but it is carrying through for Spring as well. Think flare denim, bell sleeves and, my personal favorite,  jumpsuits. This is by far my favorite Spring Trend. This 1970s revival has a modern edge that keeps you looking polished while still maintaining that whimsical vibe. Pair an off the shoulder top with a suede mini and a fringe bag and you are set! We are also seeing graphic prints and patterns with this trend.

If you haven't yet, you must check out A Line Boutique. I am always impressed with their stellar customer service, industry knowledge and excitement for fashion. Which trend will be your go-to this spring?
