How to Stay Active Without a Gym Membership
Thank you to lululemon for sponsoring this post.
Hey babes! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! If you haven't been keeping up on Instagram, I moved... AGAIN! This is my fourth move in less than two years so needless to stay I want to stay put for a while! I'm settling into my new apartment and I'm so happy with my new space! Although my apartment upgrade came with a price tag... so to stay in my monthly budget I had to kiss my gym membership goodbye.
It looks like I am going to be mixing up my workouts this fall.
Here are a few tips on how to stay active without a gym membership:
Get Outside: There is no better way to clear your head and break a sweat than a great outdoor workout! I've been spicing up my daily walks with Angus by stopping a local park to do a few strength exercises like squats, push-ups, tricep dips, and lunges.
Turn to Technology: Thank goodness for technology because there are so many great FREE fitness apps out there these days. You can even find some killer 30-minute workouts on Youtube that you can do right at home.
Make Small Changes: I am also making small changes in my daily routine like opting to take the stairs instead of the elevator, doing computer work standing up instead of sitting on the couch, and walking as many places as I can instead of automatically jumping in my car.
There you have it, you don't need a gym membership to stay active and break a sweat. I'm living the #sweatlife in lululemon's fall must have's. This jacket is perfect to throw on over your workout gear. I've had my eyes on this jacket for the past few seasons and I am happy to report it lives up to all of the hype! It is extremely flattering and comes in tons of fun colors and patterns. If you are looking for a buttery-soft pair of high-rise leggings, look no further. lululemon's Align Pant is basically a workout gear staple. I do suggest sizing down in these pants. Last but not least, this sports bra is a game-changer. This bra kept my girls super secure, I swear, they barely moved as I jumped and ran around.
Let me know if you have a favorite item from lululemon and if you have any other tips on how to stay active outside of the gym.
