Setting Intentions for the New Year

It's crazy to think about that the holidays are upon on and the new year will be here right before we know it. I do love the start of the new year because it feels like a new chapter and beginning. As much as I love the feeling of starting fresh, I actually have never set any New Year resolutions. I think it is important to always be setting goals for yourself and discovering ways you can feed your mind, body, and spirit to live a healthy and confident life. As we move into the new year I am focusing on balancing these three areas of my life by establishing these habits:

Until recently, I had never meditated and always thought I was just not the type of person who would ever find meditation helpful. I have found that starting my day with meditation helps me set my intention for my day and I am much more focused and productive.

I have always loved working out but I want to be more intentional about my workout to reach my goals. I currently do the Bikini Body Guides by Kayla Itsines. I suggest downloading the app because it makes the workout super easy to follow! Along with this, my favorite workout is indoor cycling because this allows me to get in a great cardio workout.

Healthy Eating

This area is probably the most difficult for me because I love to indulge. I am currently in the process of cutting out foods that don't sit well with me. I have drastically cut back on gluten and dairy and this girl loves pizza! I have really struggled with my skin in recent years and I truly believe that what you put into your body has a huge impact on things like acne and inflammation. It's pretty simple, feed your body good food and you will feel good!

Here I am wearing the Lulu Unlined Wired Babydoll from Parfait Lingerie. I am so honored to work with a brand who values all types of women and celebrates our differences and what makes us each uniquely beautiful. If you are not already I encourage you to also think about where you are spending you money and if the company is something that values representation. I expand more on this topic in my recent Instagram Post. As women, we have power in where we choose to spend our money. I encourage you to give your money to brands that value you and represent all types of beauty.

These are the three areas I am focusing on to be my most confident self. What goals are you setting for yourself as we move into the new year?
